What to Expect in Our Worship Services
At Otter Valley Conservative Mennonite Church, our worship services reflect a deep reverence for God and a commitment to our faith in Him. From the moment you enter, you’ll find a peaceful atmosphere that encourages inspiration, prayer, and a sense of belonging.
Our Sunday service begins at 9:30am and typically starts with congregational singing, accompanied by four-part harmony and traditional hymns. We value simplicity in worship, expressing our faith through heartfelt music without the use of instruments.
Attire is modest and respectful, following Conservative Mennonite customs. Men and women dress in plain clothing, with women wearing head coverings as a symbol of humility and devotion.
The order of service includes Bible readings, prayer, singing, and a sermon grounded in Scripture. Whether you’re a longtime believer or new to Mennonite worship, you are warmly welcomed to join us.
